Hello friends, This week in the UK we are highlighting Mental Health all this week.
Millions of people Worldwide suffer or has suffered some form of Mental Health, I am one of them, Since 16 Years old I have had this illness, and now at 58 after many many appointments with a psychiatrist and Mental Health workers I feel I am balanced for now.
The medication I take daily sustains my life I have a lot to be thankful for but it wasn't always an easy road, many times I had suicidal thoughts in my younger days and even tried it in my mid twenties.
Back then Mental Health was not recognised as it is today, and it was difficult to admit you had issues back then let alone get treatment for it.
The doctors did try you on medication but it never worked (in my eyes) I have probably tried thousands of versions of Anti depressants over the years till I finally got the medication I needed, and for a few Years it has levelled.
Going through life with Mental Health is a nightmare, the initial process is to admit you have depression for some that isn't easy.
When your young you try and shake it off, you won't admit your depressed, you wouldn't want the shame of everyone knowing about you, this stops people from talking and getting help, please believe me I was the very same, but finally I admitted I needed help, I couldn't go on living the way I was.
I beg you if you are having issues or you know someone else who is going through this wicked disease, please get yourself or them some help.
